To get to the finals Jim took out Boris Murray's Double Triumph and I took out Larry Welch on Sonny Routt's Double Triumph.

Mr. Parks and Trophy Girl gave us a visit in the Winner Circle. That was quite an Honor in those days to get Mr. NHRA in your picture. Having both Winner and Runner up in the Winner Circle was an accomplishment in it's self.
